Mar 2015 - Current (Full Time)
One World LLC (dba Instrooments), Greater Chicago Area

Operations Project Manager, Owner

  • Own the reverse-logistics lifecycle for 10,000 to 15,000 salvage electronics units a year: intake and triage, diagnosis, repair and parts replacement, functional testing, data clearing and factory reset, grading, repackaging, and multichannel listing.

  • Built a data-driven lot-analysis model that scores roughly 120 liquidation manifests a year by product mix against expected recovery lifecycle, generating pessimistic, most likely, and optimistic cost and revenue scenarios per lot and lifting projected recovery accuracy from roughly 65% to 90%. Bid-or-pass calls and bid ceilings run off that model.

  • Recover 85 to 90% of incoming salvage to sellable condition depending on category, routing the balance to electronics recycling. Post-sale returns hold at 5% and 80% of listed inventory sells inside 60 days.

  • Moved intake, repair, and sales to a pull-based Scrumban model once the build phase ended: WIP limits, replenishment triggered when ready work fell below a set threshold, and standups and retrospectives retained. Lifted on-time delivery 25% and cut lead time 25 to 30%.

  • Ran quality control improvement as a DMAIC cycle across a customized ClickUp workflow and a custom barcoding and labeling system integrated into openboxcentral.com. Inventory accuracy moved from roughly 70% to 97% in 60 days and receiving-to-listing dropped 35%.

  • Built an agentic AI listing pipeline turning product photos and short descriptions into live eBay listings through automated prompt generation, photo editing, and test-result assembly. Cut listing cycle time roughly 75% at 200 to 300 listings a month, with return and accuracy rates unchanged.

  • Negotiated volume carrier and supply agreements through group purchasing aggregation, reaching close to 90% off retail ground rates with FedEx and comparable terms with UPS, USPS, Staples, and Office Depot. Up to $50K a year in operating cost.

  • Designed the operation to be transferable and executed the handoff: documented the sourcing, refurbishment, inventory, and marketplace-management processes, onboarded and trained two incoming operators, stood up their marketplace accounts, and moved day-to-day operations to them.
  • Jul 2013 - Jun 2026 (Seasonal)
American Councils for International Education (ACTR/ACCELS), Chicago, IL

Operations and Travel Logistics, Exchange Programs

  • Retained across thirteen consecutive program years coordinating airport travel and logistics for roughly 1,000 exchange participants a year through the Chicago hub, clearing above 99% to destination the same day and running overnight hotel booking and rebooking recovery for the balance.

  • Resolved cancellations, rebookings, missed connections, and travel emergencies including medical and immigration cases, in real time with airlines, program staff, and families.

  • Led a four-person airport crew and served as the single point between the program office and on-site staff during peak student movements.
  • Dec 2011 - Jan 2013 (Full Time) and Dec 2017 - Jul 2018 (Remote)
    Ukrazakordongeologiya JSC (UZG), Kyiv, Ukraine

Natural Gas Procurement and Sales Specialist

  • Bought and sold roughly 6.5 million cubic meters of gas a month, about 78 million a year (2.8 Bcf), across 12 to 15 recurring industrial accounts under an exclusive distributor arrangement with Regal Petroleum / Enwell Energy.

  • Managed the supplier side end to end: negotiated 5 to 7 supply contracts a year and resolved price and volume disputes monthly, including payment delay resolution, alongside purchase and supply documentation, allocated volume limits, and delivery nominations.

  • Cloud automation build. Designed current-state and future-state process maps to isolate handoff bottlenecks, and built the communication plan and risk register, defining roles, decision rights, and regulatory timing windows.
  • Jul 2007 - Jan 2012 (Full Time)
Ferrexpo Group, Kyiv, Ukraine / Baar, Switzerland

    Business Analyst

  • Reported to the head of the Kyiv office. Owned four recurring reports (industry, competitor production, and shipment financials weekly, client acquisition monthly) and production, sales, and dispatch dashboards, feeding group competitive intelligence, due diligence, and executive reporting.

  • Elicited and reconciled reporting requirements across the group's Ukraine, UK, and Switzerland offices, validating them with stakeholders in each location before they were built into recurring group reporting.

  • Internal auditor on a Kyoto Protocol Joint Implementation carbon-credit program: pulled emission-reduction data from the Technical Director and the production, energy, and engineering teams, brought in Bureau Veritas to verify it, and built the monetization roadmap for an ERU position valued at over $20M for the group and its partner organizations at ICE market rates on handover.
